Module 1 – Introduction to PyMol

A general introduction into using the program PyMol. You will learn about camera movements, different representations and coloring options, image and movie generation. Includes lections about PyMol scripting and simple measurements in PyMol.

Module 2 – Mutation analysis with PyMol

This advanced module contains lections about different intra-molecular interactions in proteins as well as properties of canonic amino acids. You will learn how PyMol can help with analyzing these interactions. You will also learn how mutation analysis can be done with the help of PyMol.

Module 3 – Nucleic Acids in PyMol

This advanced module contains lections how PyMol can deal with three-dimensional structures of nucleic acids. The module will contain lections about intra-molecular  and inter-molecular interactions of nucleic acids. It will contain some lections about mutation analysis in regards to the three-dimensional structure.

Module 4 – Ligand binding analysis

This advanced module will teach you how to analyze binding properties of ligands in protein structures with the help of PyMol. You will learn about interactions between ligands and proteins and how to compare different ligands with each other in a Protein environment.
